Terms & Conditions: Share Your Lore

By entering the SHARE YOUR LORE contest, you (the Entrant, also known as the "Contestant") agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the ELYSIAN TOWER (the "Organizer") and RINAZA THORN (the “Main Host”), which are final and binding in all matters relating to the contest.

 

1. Eligibility

  • Contestants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

  • Contestants can reside in any country for this contest.

  • Contestants must have a X (formerly known as Twitter) account to participate. 

  • Contestants must have a valid Amazon account to receive a gift card prize if won. 

  • This contest is void where prohibited by law.

  • Entry to the Share Your Lore contest is FREE and no purchase is necessary to enter or win a prize for individuals or groups. 

 

2. Entry Requirements and Submission Guidelines

  • Deadlines and Streaming Event

  1. The Share Your Lore contest application period begins on November 17th, 2025 11:59AM PT and ends on January 10th, 2026 at 11:59PM PT.

  2. The Share Your Lore contest will be streamed on January 25th, 2026 at 2:00PM PT. The stream can be found at the following link: https://www.twitch.tv/rinazathorn. Time is subject to change.  

  3. Terms and Conditions of each Contestant must be agreed upon before applications can be submitted. 

  • How to Enter

  1. Entries must be submitted electronically via Google Forms and follow all formatting guidelines specified on the contest webpage (e.g., maximum page(s), font size, file type, sensitive content censorship).

  • Original Work

  1. Entries must be the Contestant's original, unpublished work and must not have won prizes in other contests.

  2. AI-created works are not allowed, and any Contestant found using AI will be banned from current and future contests hosted by the Organizer. 

  • Limits and Revisions 

  1. Once submitted, no revisions to the entry will be accepted.

  2. Only one entry per person / group is permitted.

  3. You may not participate in both the individual and group contest.

  • Denied Entries

  1. At any point can the Organizer deny an entry for any reason at any given time during the application period (e.g. the contents of the application does not follow the rules of the event). Applicants with denied entries will not receive a notice.

  2. Entries that do not include a valid X account will be denied.

 

3. Intellectual Property (IP) Rights

  • Copyright Retention

  1. The Contestants retain all copyrights to their work(s).

  • Usage of Entries for Streaming

  1. All Contestants grant the Organizer, Main Host, and involved streaming parties a non-exclusive, limited license to use, publish, and display your submission for the purpose of promoting the Share Your Lore contest and the Organizer's event in current and future media (e.g., website, social media). Contestants will be credited during the display of their entries during the event stream if entry is selected to be displayed.

  2. The Organizer and its hosts have the rights to use your submitted image(s) for social media and marketing purposes (e.g., promotion, showcasing applicants, finalist and winner posts). 

  3. The granted license includes permission for the Organizer and involved parties to use the entry in the live stream, in recordings of the live stream (which may be made available for future viewing), and in any marketing or promotional materials related to the Share Your Lore contest, across all media, without further compensation to the Contestant.

  • Acknowledgement of Similar Ideas

  1. All Contestants acknowledge that the Organizer, other Contestants, and themselves receive and develop ideas from various sources and that similar ideas may exist or be developed by others.

  • Waiver of Claims

  1. All Contestants waive any claim to the Organizer’s materials or materials from other parties on similarities to their own work product. 

  • Independent Development

  1. The Organizer’s review of the Contestant’s material does not prevent the Organizer or others from using similar ideas developed independently or obtained from other sources. 

  • Confidentiality

  1. An entry and the entirety of its content are agreed upon by the Contestant to be non-confidential and non-proprietary. 

  2. How much or how little of an entry is shown during the event will be determined by the Organizer and Main Host.  

  3. If Contestants prefer to keep a piece of personal work confidential, it is suggested that such information is omitted from the Share Your Lore submission. 

 

4. Judging and Winner Selection

  • Criteria

  1. Entries will be judged based on originality, creativity, lore, and adherence to the theme/guidelines.

  2. This contest will be judged primarily on lore design and integration (e.g., streaming, idol groups, DnD, novella series).

  3. This contest will be judged additionally on technical skills (e.g., grammar, writing style).

  • Streaming Event

  1. Based on the number of submissions and amount of time allocated for the event, the Organizer will determine how many entries are showcased during the streaming event. The Organizer reserves the right to change the number of entries showcased during the streaming event. 

  • Judging Panel

  1. Judges are those labeled as Main Host, Co-Hosts, and Special Guest Hosts. 

  2. Judges will select the Top 3 Finalists. 

  • Final Decision

    • A vote on the @ElysianTower X official page will be held during the end of the streaming event to determine the winner of the individual and group categories. The specific time and length of the voting period of the Share Your Lore event will be determined by the Organizer and is subject to change.

 

5. Prizes

  • Individual Winner

  1. The winner will receive one (1) Amazon gift card valued at $100. 

  2. The winner must have an X account that can be reached by the Organizer and/or Main Host.

  3. The winner must also have an active Amazon account. 

  4.  The winner will be notified within 3 days of the streaming event via direct messages on X. 

  5. If the winner does not respond to the direct message on X within 7 days of being notified, the winner will forfeit the prize, which will be recycled to a later Elysian Tower event.

  6. Once the winner connects with the Organizer and/or Main Host, the email connected to the Amazon account of the winner must be given. 

  7. Once the Amazon gift card is gifted to the winner under the name of the Organizer “Elysian Tower”, the Organizer and any associating party with the Share Your Lore event is not responsible for the usage of the prize.

  8. The winner must receive the gift card within 7 days of being gifted. If the winner does not click to receive the gift card prize, the winner will forfeit the prize. 

  • Group Winners

  1. The winners will receive a total of $100 in the form of Amazon gift cards that will be divided evenly amongst each member of the winning group, rounding up to the next whole dollar (e.g. if there are three winners, a prize of $34 will be given to each winner).  

  2. The winners must each have an X account that can be reached by the Organizer and/or Main Host. 

  3. The winner must also have an active Amazon account each. 

  4.  The winners will be notified within 3 days of the streaming event via direct messages on X. 

  5. If the winner(s) do not respond to the direct message on X within 7 days of the streaming event, the specific winner(s) will forfeit the prize, which will be recycled to a later Elysian Tower event.

  6. Once the winners connect with the Organizer and/or Main Host, the email connected to the Amazon accounts of the winners must be given. 

  7. Once the Amazon gift card is gifted to a winner under the name of the Organizer “Elysian Tower”, the Organizer and any associating party with the Share Your Lore event is not responsible for the usage of the prize.

  8. The winners must receive the gift card within 7 days of being gifted. If the winners do not click to receive the gift card prize, the winners will forfeit the prize. 

  • Non-Transferable

  • Prizes are non-negotiable, non-transferable, and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available.

 

6. Release and Limitation of Liability

  • By entering, Contestants agree to release and hold harmless the Organizer, its affiliates, and staff from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from participation in the contest or acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize.

 

7. General Conditions

  • The Organizer reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the contest due to unforeseen circumstances or technical issues.

  • Entry into the contest constitutes express agreement to all rules.

  • If changes or updates to the rules and guidelines of a specific event held by the Organizer occur during the application process of the event, then applicants are allowed to revise and resubmit once. 

8. Copyright Ownership 

  • Copyright of submitted work remains with the Contestant.

  • Contestants grant the Organizer a limited license to use portions of work for Event promotion.

 

9. Use of Likeness

  • Contestants grant the Organizer the right to use their likeness in media for promotional purposes.

  • Contestants agree not to request payment or commercial compensation from the Organizer or any third-party for participation, image, or writing used during the event. This includes usage during social media marketing and during the streaming event that will be recorded and posted for future viewing. 

10. Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of California, and disputes will be handled in that jurisdiction's courts.

 

11. Acceptance

  • Submitting an entry to the contest confirms acceptance of these terms for all contestants and/or those associated under the submitted group name of a submission. 

12. Changes to These Terms

  • We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to the new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

  • By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Service or participate in this contest held by the Organizer and must cease using it or applying immediately.

  • We will notify you of any changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of the document, and/or by providing notice through the platform or via email.
